What is funded

A well-thought-out digitalization plan instead of a single measure

Priority is given to digital processes in purchasing, logistics, production, customer management, payment processing and shipping and returns management.

Our approach

From idea to funded project in four steps

You submit the application, we provide the technical basis and implement after approval.

  1. 01Funding checkIn a free initial consultation, we clarify whether your project fits the funding logic and which processes should sensibly be bundled.
  2. 02Plan & quoteWe create the project concept, digitalization plan and a clearly structured cost estimate for your application.
  3. 03Your applicationYou submit online to the Vienna Business Agency. Until then, nothing is commissioned or paid in advance.
  4. 04ImplementationAfter the application has been submitted, we implement the project and provide the documents you need for the final report.

Important before you start

  • Apply first, then commission: only costs incurred after the application are eligible. No order and no down payment before that.
  • Competition: the most convincing projects receive funding. The quality of the project description counts.
  • Pre-financing: at most 50 % of the approved funding amount is paid in advance, the rest after the final report.
  • Cost estimates: for cost items over € 10,000 net, cost estimates must be attached to the application.
  • Programme period: the current programme runs until 31 December 2026.

FAQ

Questions about digitalization funding

Does FaNetwork have to be registered or certified as a provider?

No. Your company submits the application to the Vienna Business Agency (Wirtschaftsagentur Wien). Our services are your eligible project costs. We provide the project concept and cost estimate for this.

Is a new online shop funded?

An online shop as a stand-alone measure is excluded. Funding is granted for projects based on a coherent digitalization plan, for example a shop with ERP integration, automated order processing and returns management.

When may we start the project?

Only after the application has been submitted. Nothing may be commissioned or paid in advance before that, otherwise the costs are not eligible. We plan the process so that the order of steps is right.

When is the funding paid out?

An advance payment of up to 50 % of the approved funding amount is possible; the rest follows after the final report. Your company should therefore be able to pre-finance the project initially.

Is every application approved?

No. Funding is competitive and the most convincing projects are funded. That is why we attach great importance to a clear, comprehensible project description.

Which projects are particularly suitable?

Typical candidates are companies that currently work with many Excel lists, ledgers, index cards and notes and want to move these processes into one central system with roles, task planning, monitoring and target/actual reporting. We create the concept, requirements specification and functional specification for this.

Is FaNetwork a funding consultancy?

No. We are your implementation partner and prepare the concept and quotation in line with the funding logic. The binding assessment of eligibility is made by the Vienna Business Agency, which also advises companies free of charge.
