Questions about the code audit
How long does a code audit take?
That depends on the size of the software. After a short look at the code, we give you a fixed time and cost frame.
Do you also review AI-generated code?
Yes, and that is where a review matters most. AI tools produce working code quickly but often overlook security, edge cases, tests and operations. That is exactly what we focus on.
Which technologies do you review?
Common web and backend technologies such as PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js and Python, as well as widely used frameworks, CMS and shop systems. Just ask us about your stack.
Do you need access to our production system?
For the audit, access to the source code, a test environment and the infrastructure configuration is usually enough. We are happy to work under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
Do we have to keep working with you afterwards?
No. You receive a report that your own team or another provider can work with. If you wish, we take over the implementation.
How is this different from a project takeover?
In a code audit we review and assess, and your team stays responsible. In a project takeover we take over further development completely. Often one leads to the other.
